Catalog Management Reference

This section includes reference information for views, wizards, and dialog boxes—accessed under the Catalog Management node—that are used to create and manage catalog items.

Current Catalog Items ViewDescribes the catalog item lists available Current Catalog Items .
New Catalog Item WizardLists the properties available on the New Catalog Item Wizard , which can be used to create General catalog items; Software catalog items from System Center Configuration Manager, Intune, Altiris, Jamf Pro, Jamf Cloud, and Workspace ONE UEM deployment technologies; System Center Configuration Manager Task Sequence catalog items; and Alert Action catalog items.
Catalog Item Properties Dialog BoxDescribes the Catalog Item Properties dialog box, a multi-tabbed form that you use to create a new catalog item and edit the properties of an existing catalog item.
Administration NodeLists the existing catalog items that have Catalog Templates defined. Use this view to easily locate templates to change their settings.
Expressions NodeUse to define and view expressions, which are used to control form validation. By linking expressions to form fields, you can assure that data entered into forms is in a consistent format and contains valid information.
Workflows NodeUse to define approval workflows, which determine how a request should be routed for review and approval.
Approval Groups NodeUse to create approval groups, which are used to group users or groups together to identify a group of approvers.
Workflow Status NodeUse to create workflow statuses to convey the progress, state, or otherwise identify what is happening at a particular workflow step.
Questions NodeUse to create questions and to group them into question templates. If a catalog item has an associated question template, the user is prompted to answer those questions during request submission.
